Totally Committed—For Now

Commitment to something is a present day action. Think about it, what you’re committed to today isn’t necessarily what you were committed to ten years ago. You may not have the same job, or be in the same relationship or even have the same believe structure. We’re constantly changing, so why shouldn’t our commitments be any different?

And yes, you can spend a lifetime committed to things like love for your family, and being a decent person, but to me that’s more of who you are as a human being than a commitment. Who you are at your core is reflected in what you choose to be committed to—not the other way around.

So as life goes on and we gain some wisdom and growth it makes sense that our commitments can change a little. And sometimes they change a lot. The point is, as spirit says below, to be fluid and open to change. Doing so can lead you places far beyond your present imagination.

To infinity…and beyond!

With Love.

Commitment is necessary to follow through to a desired outcome, though it is important to be flexible within the framework of commitment, as there are times when the path to manifesting that which you desire is different than envisioned. Be open to change to allow a path that brings you joy.

Many times, new experiences will alter the course of your life. Changes in perception will at times broaden your view and reveal choices and desires that were once hidden from your awareness. This is why the need for flexibility is vital to growth and expansion. If one stays rigid and attached to the initial outcome - or avenues to arrive there - it many times creates fear of change that stifles forward movement. Be fluid in your pursuits - and life will be more joyous and peaceful.

Don’t Stress About It

Lately I’ve been a big ball of stress. There’s been a lot going on, but really, isn’t that usually how life is anyway? So this got me thinking about how our thoughts create our experience in this world. How much of my stress was due to outside forces…or was it mostly an inside game?

I was lucky enough to be able to schedule myself an extra-long extended weekend to just chill out and try to conquer the stress beast that had started messing with my life. What came was a list of self-reflecting questions that made me focus on the reality of the situation. Is this pressure I’m feeling, A) due to my slacking off; B) coming from someone or something threatening my life; C) is anyone going to die if I don’t meet a deadline? Short answers to the above questions: A) no; B) no; C) no. So yep, my stress is an inside job.

Next was the examination of why I tend to hold onto stress this way and how I see others doing the same. Quite simply it’s because we want to do a good job. We want to feel valuable and be of value. And of course there’s the fear of loss if we somehow fail. Does that ring a bell for you?

The truth is that stressful situations are all around us and always will be. It’s up to us to figure out the best ways to process through it so it doesn’t overtake our precious lives and drain us. So I’ll leave you with this minute of Zen: Somewhere Along the California Coast, and the very short, but to the point message below.

With Love.

Signs of Life

This week I thought I’d give you all an interesting taste of my upcoming book. It speaks to the potential of forms of life similar to our own “out there”. I believe it gives another spin on how we’re set up to be a particular planetary race and not such a divided group of sub-races. Just a little food for thought.

With Love.

Are there other forms of life similar to our own in the Universe?
There are those that are similar, yet no two are alike. The growth, evolution and energetic patterns are set by the energy of the star of which one orbits. It is determined by the energies of the other planetary bodies that are present in the organized system. These energies contribute to the creation of life and the type of life forms that continue to thrive and evolve. They contribute to the energetic imprint of the cellular creation. To understand this is to understand your own human form of creation. Although similar in structure, the outcome of creation is determined by the union of the female and the male, and the genetic markers and energetic imprint that they combine to create the child. This is further influenced by environmental factors and the current physical and emotional stage of evolution of the contributors. Thus, each child is a unique specimen with its own way of interacting and reacting with its world, while containing the same basic components of the living structures of its race.

Variant planetary system structures will create variant life forms within its hospitable environments. Variant forms of life will adapt and evolve according to energetic patterns presents. You are one of many such variant forms of life.

Time to Look a Little Deeper Under the Skin

This past week has been heart wrenching. The devastating events in South Carolina have left me feeling sad and wondering if as a society we’ll ever “get it” when it comes to racial equality. So this week I asked, will we? The answer is below.

Is it possible for us as a human race really live in harmony without first judging one another by the color of our skin?
As human evolution continues there will be an decrease in the attachment of the body. It will still be valued as useful mechanism for transporting the spirit through this planetary dimension, yet the attachment to visual conformity will be considerably less. It is within this context that the sub-races within the human race will be approached with less judgment. Individuals will be valued for their actions and humanity, not visual aspects.

It is for your own personal evolution to start now with this mindset. It is to start with the self from a place of value for the body as a useful mechanism that moves you through this world, yet to let go of the social constraints of its physical appearance. It is to adorn the body for pleasure purposes and celebration not as a means of conformity.

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

Do you ever think about time and how it seems to fly by and then in other instances drags on for an eternity? This week’s message gives an interesting perspective of time and how it’s actually a belief that we can work with to benefit our lives, not an experience that leaves us feeling stressed or bored. I like this idea.

So my experiment this week is to play with time; to check my thinking when I tumble into the “there’s not enough” or “there’s too much” time perspective (though I have to say that I rarely feel like I have too much time...). Will you join me?

With Love.

From Over There: 6.14.15 weekly focus
Your concept of time correlates to your own personal view of reality. Your understanding of time will be your experience of time. If you feel as if you do not have enough time or have too much time it is your belief that it is so, and the action that you take within that belief structure.

If you believe that there is not enough time you will create actions that are consistent with the belief. You will commit to too many endeavors that will not fit into the allotted structure they are set within. If you believe that there is too much time you will create a melancholy mindset that leaves one feeling a lack of energy, leading to boredom.

It is embracing that all is well within the structure of the world in which the Universe has set forth, and that time is an element of belief that is meant to serve your experience—nothing more. It is to believe that time allows all the joy that life has to offer and that there is always enough joy to fill the space of time.
