Stay the Course

This week’s question and forecast have to do with – both in their own way – divine timing and how to keep moving toward a goal when things don’t feel like they’re moving fast enough. I know we’ve all been there. It can be mighty frustrating to be sure. It’s all about keeping momentum going even when this irritating human issue of needing money arises. Believe me, I’ve asked/ begged/ shaken my fist at the energies on more than one occasion, yet always get the same answer. Retain positive focus and don’t be attached to the final outcome. Argh, easy for “them” to say when they don’t have rent or a mortgage payment coming due. But even through my frustration I’ve had to recognize that focus and follow through are vital, especially when doing what you love. The trick is to do whatever you can to keep yourself floating while following your dream, and remembering why it was your dream in the first place. Oh, and building a community of support is imperative to get you through those frustrating/ scary/ overwhelming times.

Just keepin’ it going over here and hoping you do the same.

With Love.

From Over There: 3.2.14 Weekly Forecast
It is time to focus on the end result while practicing unattachment to the outcome. This is the way to open to all forms of possibility, and to results as of yet unforeseen. Work toward the goal, yet allow its development to unfold. One does not expect to force the petals of a flower to open and have it thrive – the petals must be allowed to unfold in their own natural way in order to create perfect balance.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Featured Guest Question:
Q: I'm in the process of building my business, but find I am in a money crunch. How do I trust that what I am doing is going to sustain me on a financial level? I’m very passionate about the work I’m doing, so that’s not the issue, it’s that the money isn’t arriving when I need it to.

A: Divine timing is the utmost importance when sharing that which you love, and perseverance is the key to building that which you desire. The energy and passion that you hold will translate through to the work, yet because it is your energy and not the personal energy of those with whom you wish to enroll, the results will at times transpire at a slower pace than what you may wish. It is connecting through the dense energetic field to meet another with this passion-energy that needs to occur. To understand this principle of energetic connection is to understand a component of divine timing. It is through passion and enthusiasm that one connects quickest to others.

Another component of diving timing are the lessons that may be useful in preparing one for the responsibilities of a successful outcome. These lessons will occur at varying lengths and are dependent on the willingness of the participant to overcome any challenges as they arise. It is important to remember that any journey is an opportunity to move toward a more enlightened state. The many journeys of life are meant to open and expand ones awareness. Allowing the lessons to unfold will create greater ease and movement toward an expanded existence and the potential for a joyful outcome that may be presently unforeseen.

For the inquirer:
The energetic connection is being made. Know that it is unfolding and will continue to unfold. Remaining focused on the process with a state of joy and excitement for the work quickens the results, yet we see that there is a need for you to replenish by acquiring work in a center that will support your income and social network, and allow your independent work to reach a greater community of those who are interested in your offerings. This may feel like movement backward to you. Know that it is not. It will give you the stability needed to maintain your enthusiasm while giving greater insight on how to build your independent work and bring it to the success that you desire.

(Note: When given this message I saw that by “center” they meant a facility that offers this type of work. It would mean that the inquirer become an employee of sorts while building their own business. The important thing here is to go after supplemental income that is in the same field as the business you’re going into. So for instance, if you’re starting a baked goods company, go work in a bakery. That way you’ll get real world experience while being able to have some sort of stable income.)

Letting It Go

It’s a bit uncanny how this week’s forecast and guest question go hand-in-hand, but hey, the Universe sometimes finds it necessary to give a double-punch when the timing of a message is important to hear. It’s all about letting go. And not just letting go of something that is broken beyond repair, but letting go of something that may be only partially dysfunctional. It makes it much more difficult to let go when you still get at least a little pleasure out of a situation, though in the end of it all you need to weigh how much return you get on your investment. Is your output of energy toward whatever it is at least giving you a little more back? Or is it leaving you feeling drained and overwhelmed? I know that the dynamics of any situation can ebb and flow with how much energy you’re giving vs how much you’re given, though when it gets to the point of more consistent giving with no getting then it may be time to reevaluate things.

This is going to sound like a very silly analogy, but this week’s forecast came to me while vacuuming the living room. Here’s a little back story: about 10 years ago I fell prey to a Kirby vacuum salesman who came to my door. It’s a little embarrassing to admit that. Now don’t get me wrong, the vacuum was one powerful sucker, but with what I paid for it I could’ve bought a decent used car. The other day while vacuuming I realized that although it was still a good vacuum, it was unwieldy and too large for my present small space. I really didn’t like it and it made the already not-so-fun chore of vacuuming even less enjoyable. I realized that my attachment to it was the amount of money I had spent it. Knowing that I would never get anything near what I paid for it, I decided it was time to let go of the heavy thing and see if I could trade it in for a lighter, more easy going model. I’m happy to say that I was able to do just that, though I have to admit to having a little bit of a hard time handing it over once it was time to do so. It’s funny how we get attached to things.

Here’s to letting go of heavy suckers and lighten the load!

With Love.

From Over There: 2.23.14 Weekly Forecast
It is time to release attachment and let go of that which has perceived value, but is not fully functional. Look for that which may have served you in the past, but no longer serves your joy. It is time to reassess whether the benefits are outweighing the pain or if the pain is outweighing the benefits. You and only you can decide if the balance the power it has in your life serves you, or is of disservice. It is time to look deep.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Featured Guest Question:
Q: How do I let go of something that I need to let go of when I know that it’s probably going to cause me a huge amount of pain to do so? How do I move forward?

A: It is an act of bravery to create change that initially leaves one in a state of discomfort. This bravery comes from one’s own personal power. This power increases with each brave act. To hide in fear of change increases the pain that may have started as a less concerning feeling, yet grows stronger and more painful with denial, creating an ever-burdened heart that cannot heal. It is in moving toward the pain – not away from it – that will encourage its release and will make it less troublesome. It is in the knowing that what starts as a burden lessens as you release.

To deny the burden only increases its weight, filling the heart with heaviness. To deny the burden instigates life patterns that create life situations that bring lessons to encourage its release. These lessons will present themselves in ways that continue to increase the burden until one is brought to a level of discomfort that creates the acknowledgement of the burden and desire to let it go. It may feel as if life is unfair, yet it is life attempting to move toward healing.

It is by bravely facing that which is not fully functional and choosing a path toward change that creates healing and an opening for a more enriching life. It is to pull back the lens of focus to see a bigger picture instead of pointing focus solely on the issue. When one focuses solely on the issue peripheral vision is lost and perspective is overshadowed by pain. If one chooses to view through a broader scope, perspective is colored by possibility. This empowered perspective allows for greater happiness to fill one’s life.

What on Earth...?

This week’s question ties in with the energy forecast quite nicely. It has to do with standing by what you believe in, and specifically, standing by your principles even when it feels challenging to do so. Although the topic of the question is related to our planet and environmental concerns, the answer beautifully conveys how each individual is so necessary to the collective whole.

The energy forecast can be applied to so many things. Basically, if you stand by what you know is to be in your best interest – even if it is painful to do so – it gives you the reserves to move more powerfully in the world. A good thing, for sure.

With Love.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

From Over There:  Week 2-16-14 Energy Forecast
It is time to find strength in your convictions. It is time to focus on those things that strengthen and empower you – both the physical and emotional selves. This is the foundation that helps one in making necessary decisions that are in the highest and best interest of the individual, and supports in times of pain. Now is not the time to go into avoidance of the pain, but to face it to move through and beyond. It is in the facing of one’s challenges that one finds true courage and empowerment. It is in the facing of one’s challenges that one grains true strength in their convictions.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Featured Guest Question:
Lately I've been feeling overwhelmed, and particularly sad and hopeless over recent environmental events. I've signed petitions, attended protests, donated money and volunteered. I feel that all my efforts are a waste of time, and like nothing is changing. Why isn't Mother Earth helping us out on this? What can I do?

The planet Earth is a powerful organism that self-corrects through climate change and cataclysmic natural occurrences. Humankind views these changes as sign of their part in destroying the planet, yet it is more a reaction of the planet to the actions of humankind. Humankind will not destroy the planet by their actions, but instead run the risk of creating an environment that is inhospitable for them to thrive.

It is through awareness that humankind creates their own change in action. Know that your efforts are creating an energetic support that is useful. It is in the knowing that you are doing what you are able that will help you to feel less hopeless. It is in the knowing that your actions are adding to the collective whole that is desiring change. As collective awareness increases so does the capacity to create change. Know that your desires for change are in the highest good. Stand by these principles and know that it offers help. The oceans are filled with yet one single drop of rain multiplied. You are not alone in your quest.

In Case of Emergency

This week is the full-fledged start of my new format. It will include an energy forecast for the week (basically what to focus on throughout the week), as well as a question posted by a reader with a corresponding answer I receive ‘from over there’. I had a feeling that the first question sent would be pretty profound, and indeed, it is. It has to do with having a spiritual emergency – or spiritual crisis – that leaves the individual feeling disconnected and unable to feel fully integrated into this world. This can happen when intense spiritual growth quickly occurs, and can be brought on by spiritual practice, a life-altering trauma like a near death experience or death of a loved one, or in some instances hallucinogenic drug use, to name a few.

Experiencing a spiritual emergency is not an easy thing to go through, and the process can last anywhere from a couple of days to a few months, or even years. I’ve had what I call a few ‘mini-crises’ here and there, but nothing to the extent of what the individual posing this week’s question is having. The path to spiritual enlightenment can be beautiful and is definitely life enriching, but it can also be painful and unsettling, especially when you make a jump that your body isn’t prepared for. It can create major disturbances in sleep patterns, physical pain, and a sense of alienation with those around you who struggle to understand what you're going through.

On a lighter note, this week’s forecast has to do with what you should focus your attention on, and the answer is joy. Works for me!

With Love.

PS. Remember to send in your questions, and let me know how you like the new setup!

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

From Over There: Week 2-9-14 Energy Forecast
It is in the letting go of that which brings a sense of frustration or despair that one opens to another way.  Now is the time to release focus on those things that cause frustration or despair, and refocus on that which brings joy. By doing so, it creates a greater sense of happiness and peace in the present moment, and in turn, opens the heart to a state of receptivity to that which is truly desired.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Featured Question: I’ve been in the midst of a spiritual emergency for quite some time now. When I will be able to join the world again and when my body will catch up with my spiritual advancements?

A: It is the belief that the body cannot be a vehicle for spirit, and in itself, a spiritual tool. There is a desire to discard or shed the body, as it feels heavy and constricting. To view the body as a spiritual component of self better integrates a deeper connection to the spirit as one chooses the path toward enlightenment. And there are those whose beliefs are ingrained through religious training or religious doctrine passed through ancestral DNA that speaks of the body as ‘unpure’. When viewed in this manner, it is seen as that which needs to be punished to create a higher spiritual connection. It is as if the body needs to be destroyed in order for the spirit to thrive. These beliefs create resentment toward the body and difficulty in relating to lower density energies and others on the earthly plane.

It is important to know that emerging into a higher vibrational state can cause a continued depletion of minerals needed to keep the body strong and able. As one forges a deeper connection with spirit it is vital to increase those substances which fortify and strengthen the physical body, especially as the physical body ages. As one changes perspective to view the body as a vehicle for spirit that allows experiences in this realm, it will lead to lessons that give greater understanding of the spirit – and an understanding that it is a miraculous instrument designed as a component of creation to further the evolution of all.

PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR ENQUIRER: This part of the message came through like information does when I’m giving an individual reading. This is why it sounds like it’s coming from me, though I’m just relaying the information.

The integration process is still taking place, and because of the lower density energy of this plane it is taking your body longer to catch up with the accelerated spiritual growth you experienced. This is causing not only physical ailments, but also a bit of an emotional disconnect. There are things that you can do to integrate quicker, but I see a time frame of about 4-6 more months before you feel ‘right’ again, and even then you will have a different way of being in the world than before this issue began. Here are some things that you can do:

Re-mineralize
·         Take mineral baths with Epsom salts and Himalayan pink salt (or any high quality sea salt)
·         Supplementation (liquid minerals will give you a good dose)
·         Cook in cast iron whenever possible

Reconnect Etheric Cord
·         Visualize strengthening the energetic cord that connects your soul to your body
·         Use energy work to helps strengthen as well

Rest
·         Very important in rebuilding the connection
·         Think of it more as a part of your spiritual development work, and not as a negative (ie, fatigue)

Stay the Course

So this week I’ve decided to shake things up a little with a slightly new format. Yes, there will still be a message from over yonder, but instead of it being topic-related it will be more an energetic forecast for the week. This change was prompted by a message that I received last week while lying in bed with some sort of incapacitating bug. I’m not very good at being sick and between dosing off I tend to do a lot of thinking (the hamsters riding the wheels in my brain have a difficult time slowing down). As I lay there I wondered if my blog had run its course, if it had become a little stale, and if I needed to pull my posts back to once or twice a month. Whether any of this is true, one thing I did get was a little thump on the head telling me to simply change the perspective…a little. This new perspective, I was told, was to center on an area of focus for the week ahead. Well, ok then.

Because this is a new way for me to pull in information I welcome all feedback and comments about whether you feel it is more or less useful than the previous format. After all, I do write this for you. And one more thing, I’m also going to start posting answers from “over there” to questions I receive from my readers. This means that I need your questions. They can cover just about any subject, though if you’re looking for winning lottery numbers, sorry, I’ve tried and they won’t give ‘em to me! Anyway, please contact me through email at mollie@molliejensen.com, or private message me through the [Random] spirit Facebook page. You can also post a question as a comment to this blog, if you don’t mind it being seen by the general public.

Anywho, let me know what you think!

With Love.

From Over There: Week 2-2-14 Energy Forecast
“Know that all that you have been striving for – if done so with a true heart – is beginning to unfold. Know that although the accomplishment may still be yet unseen, the energetic course has developed. Be patient, yet active. Now is not the time to be complacent, but to ride this energy with action. To do so will encourage you to stay the course, even if you do not feel the immediate reward of your effort. Hold the vision of accomplishment in your mind’s eye. This focus will keep the desired outcome energetically active.”

Featured Guest: YOU

Yes that’s right, you! So send on over your questions and let’s get this started. And please know that I won’t be posting names along with the questions for confidentiality purposes. Also, I may not be able to get to your question right away, and if I feel that your question may not be suitable for this format, I’ll let you know. Either way, I’ll definitely respond to any message you send. So, whadd’ya need to know?

Pace Yourself

I most often get this weekly post done by Sunday evening, though this time it’s a little later than usual. Every time I sat down to write and asked for a message nothing came. I kept trying, but nope, nada. All I wanted to do was lie on the couch and watch movies. I was tired and really didn’t want to sit and write. And truthfully, it was a little unsettling when I wasn’t able to connect to any information. The panicky thought actually came into my head, “Oh my god, what if I’ve lost my connection?! Holy sh**!”

After I peeled myself off the ceiling and allowed myself to watch American Graffiti, another thought came, “What if this is exactly what I’m supposed to do? What if that, in itself, is the message?”  So I did, and then was in bed before 9:00 without writing my post.

In the shower this morning lo and behold popped in the message. Funny how that works. It was definitely a good reminder in how if you don’t allow some downtime burnout out sets in. And there’s nothing as unsetting as burnout affecting something you love to do.

Wishing you all your own type of rest and relaxation…

With Love.

From Over There
“Motivation is a combination of understanding the individual’s own energy patterns coupled with continued desire. This understanding of your own individual energy patterns is vital to keeping on the path to pursuing that which you desire. Disregard of these patterns can lead to increased fatigue, stress and overall lack of vitality. This, in turn, removes joy from the process of achieving and demotivates when fatigue accelerates.

It is imperative that one pursues beloved activities – those activities which bring pleasure simply from the act. This, coupled with an understanding of one’s own individual energy patterns and requirements for balancing rest with activity will keep one motivated to act and inspired to continue.”

I Have a Dream

This week’s post is dedicated in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dream of racial equality. Although we’ve come a long way, there’s still plenty more to go, and when I reflect on his dream I like to think that it has unfolded to include all races, genders and sexual orientations. To put it bluntly, I don’t look at his message as just a black and white issue, but as an overall human issue.

I recognize that being white has brought me a level of social privilege and that being straight has meant that I haven’t had to fight for the right to express my love in the way I see fit. And I also am acutely aware that – aside from being female – I haven’t really had to define myself by race or sexual orientation as a means to overcome social or judicial bias. Though one thing that has always bothered me are titles like “African-American” and “gay marriage”. Shouldn’t I then be defined as a Scandinavian-American who used to be in a straight marriage? Shouldn’t we all have to subscribe to the same structured definitions? Better yet, no definitions? I know, easy for me to say as I sit here living in the liberal-peace-love-and-understanding mecca of the US, but it’s just a thought. And you know what? I can dream too…

Sweet dreams to you all.

With Love.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

From Over There:
“To be exclusive of any segment of humanity based upon gender or ethnicity creates a fractured sense of wholeness within oneself. To be exclusive of those whose lifestyle conflicts with one’s sense of morality – when the behavior deemed offensive brings harm to no one – creates a state of separateness in viewpoint upon the world and a skewed sense of moral judgment. This creates a world view not solely based on love, but one of fear and need for retribution. This moves one further away from love and further away from a connection with the spirit. It is in recognition of the interconnectedness of all that one forges a deeper relationship to the spiritual aspect of oneself. It is through this connectedness that brings understanding and a harmonious existence for all.”

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Featured Guest: Dr. Marin Luther King, Jr.
Here is a link to Dr. King’s famous speech, “I Have a Dream”. I’d like to think that today this dream to move to a more just and inclusive society includes equality for everyone, regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, gender, or spiritual beliefs.
